Managing Members and User Accounts

Member Accounts

Members are all individuals within SportPAD such as administrators, referees and users (captains, team members & free agents). They can either be added through the admin area or signup directly from your custom front end SportPAD site.
SportPAD stores the following user data:


  • Name
  • Surname
  • Email – used as username and for the mailing system
  • Display Name – visible name as shown on the front end of the site.
  • Bio (optional)
  • Date of Birth (optional)
  • Ethnicity (optional)


  • Address Line 1
  • Address Line 2
  • City
  • County
  • Postcode
  • Country

User Accounts

User Accounts can also be created for all members by selecting the ‘Create account’ function on the member page. Three types of role are available:
Administrator Role: Full administration privileges and access to admin area.

Referee Role: Creating a referee account allows administrators to assign them to fixtures. Referees can input scores, add match notes and view all fixtures assigned to them.

Captain Role: Users with captain accounts are given their own specific ‘My Team’ area. From within this page they can:

  • View their upcoming fixtures
  • Add results
  • Dispute scores
  • Send cancel requests to administrators and referees
  • View stats
  • Manage their payments
  • Manage their profile / account
  • Add new teams
  • Join existing teams
